please note that from 2 April 2025, Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) will be required to enter the UK.

How to get an ETA?
You can apply via the official UK ETA mobile app or via the website.

ETA fee: £10 (approx. €13)
Validity: 2 years, with multiple entries into the UK during this period
ETA is electronically linked to passport – new authorisation must be applied for when changing passport

Important information for transfers
If you are travelling with a low cost airline (e.g. Ryanair, Wizz Air) and have a connecting flight, please note the following:

• you need to collect your luggage
• pass through passport control
• and then check in again

In this case, an ETA is also required for the transfer. When connecting with traditional airlines, unless you are leaving the transit area of the airport, an ETA is usually not required. However, we strongly recommend that you check the conditions with your airline in advance.
