Flights from Poprad to Egypt will be launched in winter

charter flights to one of the most popular holiday destinations, Hurghada in Egypt, will be available from the airport under the Tatras for the first time in history.
Egypt by air from Poprad is opened by the travel agency CK Solvex.
The move comes as a commitment by the management to expand the range of flights from Poprad throughout the year.
Charter flights to Egypt will be available until the end of April, allowing travellers to enjoy sunny days and warm seas while winter is here.
“We are naturally proud to be able to bring new options to our passengers while expanding the services of Poprad-Tatry Airport. Egypt is a popular choice not only during the summer months, but increasingly during the winter season as well, so we believe this news will appeal to the general public,” said Ing. Patrik Františka, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer of Poprad-Tatry Airport.
Resorts such as Hurghada are popular locations where travellers can not only relax on the beach, but also discover Egypt’s fascinating history, or experience a diving adventure in the Red Sea and explore the beautiful coral reefs full of fish.

Egypt

Egypt, officially known as the Arab Republic of Egypt, spans northeast Africa and extends into Asia, specifically across the Sinai Peninsula.
The country is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Red Sea to the east.

In the summer months (July to September), temperatures often climb above 40°C, while in the southern areas they can reach up to 50°C.
